Liberal International Scotland branch was re-launched at the Scottish Liberal Democrat Spring Conference in May 2024 at Hamilton Town House, Glasgow. Our fringe meeting with Lord Jeremy Purvis (right), Liberal Democrat spokesperson for Commonwealth and Foreign Affairs as well as international development, turned out to be very popular with the conference participants, who wanted to hear all about his recent work around the world. Irina von Wiese, Chair of Liberal International British Group (left) and Sir Graham Watson, Convener of the LI Scotland group (in the middle) moderated the panel discussion.
